At present, the next train bound for central Asia from Wuhan   has been under preparation. The regular trip is expected to operate once a week between the two sides.

Wuhan is highly complementary to central Asian countries like Kazakhstan in industries, as the former is an important manufacturing center in central China, while the latter is rich in agricultural products and mineral resources.
